THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION AND EMPLOYMENT IN EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES: PANEL DATA ANALYSIS

Renewable energy, which is the type of energy that plays a major role in development and growth countries, an important today’s world, considering life depleted resources finite. Compared to fossil sources, except its source infinite, noticeable difference carbon dioxide emission seen as reason for preferring renewable sources. Many studies literature investigate relationship between consumption economic growth. This study was conducted on production 27 European Union member countries explores impact employment. In study, panel ARDL test with data years 2006-2019. According results generation has positive effect employment long term. run, 1% increase primary increases by 0.08%. Increasing use should go beyond being policy recommendation international conventions. The fact these provide large areas can be good alternative today high unemployment rates.
